Jenny Halpern Prince
Biography
Prince was born in Kingston Upon Thames. She is the daughter of Sir Ralph Halpern and Lady (Joan) Halpern.
Prince co-founded Access Aspiration in 2012, an educational charity promoting social mobility via aspirational work placements and introductions. Access Aspiration is now part of the Mayor's Fund for London. They have worked with 31 schools, securing over three and a half thousand work placements.[3]
In 2014, The Lady Garden Foundation, a national women's health charity, was co-founded by eight women, including Prince, who now chairs the charity. Their aim is to increase awareness and raise funds to fight the five gynaecological cancers.[4] The Foundation hosts an annual Ladies Lunch at Fortnum & Mason,[5] a bi-annual Gala Dinner at Claridge's, amongst other smaller events and brand partnerships.[6]
Prince also sat on the board of Great Ormond Street Hospital for 7 years, in which time she set up partnerships and the ‘Save the Day’ campaign for the hospital, raising £1.3 million.[7]
Prince began her career as a PR Officer at Joseph, and founded Halpern PR in 1993.[8] Halpern was one of the first agencies in London to create a specialist celebrity and influencer division.[9]
Halpern PR was part acquired by WPP in 2014 when Prince sold a percentage of the business to The&Partnership.[10]
Personal life
Prince and her husband, Ryan Prince, have twin girls (born 2009) and a son (born 2016) and live in West London.
