Jes Macallan

Jessica Lee Liszewski (born August 9, 1982), better known by her stage name Jes Macallan, is an American actress. She is best known for her role as Josslyn Carver in ABC drama series Mistresses and Ava Sharpe in The CW superhero comedy-drama Legends of Tomorrow.

Early life

Macallan on TV

Macallan was born in Sarasota, Florida.[1] She graduated from the University of Florida with an International Marketing Degree.[1] She began a modeling career in early 2000s and then graduated from Maggie Flanigan Studio in New York City.[1]

Career

From 2011 to 2012, Macallan guest starred in many television series, including Femme Fatales, Shameless, Justified, The Protector, Grey's Anatomy and NCIS: Los Angeles.[1]

In 2012 she landed a series regular leading role on the ABC drama series Mistresses, along with Alyssa Milano, Rochelle Aytes and Yunjin Kim, about the lives of four female friends and their involvement in an array of illicit and complex relationships.[3][4][5] Mistresses debuted on June 3, 2013, and on September 25, 2013, ABC renewed show for a second season set to premiere in the summer of 2014.[6][7] Macallan also played the leading role in the 2014 Lifetime movie, The Mentor.[8] In 2017, Macallan joined the cast of The CW superhero series Legends of Tomorrow in a recurring role as Time Bureau agent Ava Sharpe.[9] In 2018, Macallan was promoted to series regular for the fourth season of the show.[10]
