He grew up in the club Holmedal[1] and represented Norway as a youth international.[2][3][4] In the summer of 1995 he joined SK Brann as a prospect player.[5]
During a long Brann spell he played for them once,[6] but was benched among others for the 1999 Norwegian Football Cup Final.[7] Rumored to transfer to Ørn-Horten in 2001,[8] he remained in Bergen where he played for Fyllingen and Løv-Ham.
In 2007 he moved on to Åsane,[9] where he also embarked on a coaching career. He coached Baune and Frøya, and from 2014 the men's team of Arna-Bjørnar.[10]
