John Sevier Park

John Sevier Park is a public park in Maryville, Tennessee.

Location

John Sevier park is bordered to the Northwest by Sequoyah Ave. It is bisected by Westfield Dr. The whole park covers 8 acres of land.[1] The park is located directly across the street from the namesake John Sevier Elementary School.

Features

In the eastern end of the park there is a pool, picnic pavilion, and playground.[1] The pool is open seasonally from mid-May to early-August.[2] In the western end of the park there are 2 basketball courts. Since renovations in mid-2019 there are also 4 tennis courts and 6 pickleball courts, which before the renovations were exclusively tennis courts.[3]
