John W. Boyd (Tennessee politician)
John William Boyd (ca. 1852 - March 10, 1932) was an African-American ex-slave who served as an attorney, magistrate and Republican politician in Tipton County, Tennessee, including serving two terms in the Tennessee House of Representatives[1] from 1881 to 1884.
