Kat Coiro
Kat Coiro is an American director and writer.[1][2][3] She is credited in three movies and several television series, including The Mick, Brooklyn 99, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Modern Family, and the upcoming She-Hulk. She attended Carnegie Mellon University and the Moscow Art Theater for history, theater and directing. She studied briefly as a fellow at the American Film Institute Conservatory. She is married to actor Rhys Coiro, and they have three children.[4] She currently resides in Los Angeles, California.

Film
- L!fe Happens (2011) – Coiro's directorial debut, which she co-wrote with Krysten Ritter. It stars Krysten Ritter, Kate Bosworth, and Rachel Bilson.
- And While We Were Here (2012) – directed and written by Coiro while she was eight months pregnant.[10] It stars Jamie Blackley, Iddo Goldberg and Claire Bloom. It was nominated for best feature and best lead actress (Bosworth) at the Tribeca Film Festival.[11] John Anderson of Variety wrote in his review, "Kat Coiro hangs a gossamer tale of ruined love and liberation,"[12] and Shannon Houston of Paste wrote that the film "establishes Coiro's presence as a new, potent voice in filmmaking."[13]
- Marry Me (2021)[14] – a romantic comedy starring Jennifer Lopez, Owen Wilson, Maluma & Sarah Silverman for Universal Pictures that is scheduled to be released theatrically in 2021.
