Kendriya Vidyalaya, Khanapara
Kendriya Vidyalaya, Khanapara (informally K.V. Khanapara or K.V.K) is a co-educational school in Guwahati, Assam, India. It is part of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). It is the oldest Kendriya Vidyalaya in the North-Eastern region of India and is a pioneer institute in the region.

The institute had a humble beginning in the year 1966, however, over the years it has established itself as a leading institute and most sought after school in the region. The students of the institute are a unique blend of professionalism, perseverance, simplicity and dedication which is evident from the number of laurels brought by them in over past few years.[1]
Academics
Kendriya Vidyalaya, Khanapara offers a wide range of subjects for the initial years of study and Higher education. Further, for the Senior Secondary Education, the school offers three Science, Commerce and Humanities with a number of optional subjects as per KVS guidelines. The teachers of the institute are diverse and well-reputed in their fields and many of them have even received national awards in the recent past.
Over the years the institute has established as a premier institute in the region with the recent pass percentage of 99.52% and 99.42% in 2020 AISSE and AISSCE respectively.[2]
