Demography
In the 2011 census, Khera Kalan had 1,539 houses with a population of 11,252, consisting of 6,397 males and 5,855 females.[1] The population of children aged 0–6 was 1,095, making up 13.27% of the total population of the village.[1] The average sex ratio was 877 out of 1000, which is higher than the state average of 868 out of 1000 and it was also known as largest village of JATTRANA Gotra in Delhi and here was the rule of jattRana gotra which is more than 70 percent of total population of this village.In this village brahmin consists of 6 percent of total population.And muslim consists of 5 percent population. More than 80 percent of land belongs to jat community.[1] The child sex ratio in the village was 891 out of 1000, which is lower than the average of 871 out of 1000 in the territory of Delhi.[1] The total Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes population in the town was 1,807 people and all were Scheduled Castes. There are no people of the Scheduled Tribe in the town.[2]
