Overview
Kotobank provides a comprehensive explanation of terms found in a lot of various dictionaries and encyclopedias such as Buritanika Kokusai Daihyakka-jiten (Japanese: ブリタニカ国際大百科事典[N 1]) ,[2] Daijisen, Encyclopedia Nipponica, Heibonsha World Encyclopedia and so on. The biggest feature of Kotobank is that you can search across terms at once from these many encyclopedias and dictionaries. Kotobank collects only articles written by experts (Professional) , unlike encyclopedia that anyone can write like Wikipedia. Therefore, it is competing with Wikipedia on reliability.[3]
