Kulunda Steppe

Kulunda Steppe (Russian: Кулундинская равнина, Kazakh: Құлынды даласы) is an alluvial plain in the south of Western Siberia, a vast steppe that occupies the southern part of the West Siberian Plain. It is located mainly in the Altai Krai of Russia and the Pavlodar Oblast of Kazakhstan, a small northern part is located in the Novosibirsk Oblast, a small southern part is in the East Kazakhstan Oblast. The border between the Barabinskaya Steppe and the Kulundinskaya Steppe is almost not expressed. Conventionally, it is carried out at 54 degrees north latitude.[1]
