Lanacom

Lanacom was a software firm based in Toronto, founded by ex-Delrina executive Tony Davis. It focused on "push" content software for the Internet. In early 1997 the firm released a product called "Headliner", a program which automatically collated and delivered content derived from Internet sources. It offered several different types of interfaces for the end-user: Ticker (news ticker), NewsTitle (just the news titles) and ScreenSaver.

The firm was bought out in July 1997 by BackWeb.
