Lawrence Barnes
Lawrence Barnes is a former National Football League running back. He was drafted by the San Diego Chargers in the 6th round of the 1977 NFL Draft. He spent the 1977 season and part of the 1978 season with the Chargers. He also spent parts of the 1978 season with the St. Louis Cardinals and Philadelphia Eagles. He ended his career in 1979 with the Eagles.[1] The Cardinals cut running back Willie Shelby in order to make room to sign Barnes.[2][3]
