Lena Khan

Lena Khan is a film director and writer. She co-wrote and directed The Tiger Hunter (2016) and is directing the upcoming Disney+ movie Flora & Ulysses.[1][2]

Early life and career

Khan was born in Canada[3] to Indian parents.[4] Khan grew up Rancho Cucamonga, California before graduating from UCLA's film school.[5][6] She is a Muslim.[7] Khan has also written and directed short films.[8] Her directorial debut was The Tiger Hunter, a film partially based on her grandfather who was a tiger hunter.[2] Her second film, Flora & Ulysses, will be released in February 2021.[8] Khan was on the 2020 Alice Initiative's "List of Emerging Female Directors".[9]
