Leon Michels

Leon Michels is an American producer and multi-instrumentalist known for his work with El Michels Affair (which he founded), Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, and Big Crown Records (which he co-founded).[1] Additionally, he has recorded for artists such as for Lana Del Rey, Dr. John, Action Bronson, and he frequently collaborates with Dan Auerbach.[2] Michels has played with groups such as the blues-rock duo The Black Keys, hip-hop group The Wu Tang Clan, soul singer Charles Bradley, and is a founding member of The Arcs [3]and Menahan Street Band[4]
