Letafet Alekperova
Letafet Alekperova (Azerbaijani: Lətafət Nadir qızı Ələkbərova; born 21 July 1976) is an Azerbaijani television and radio host, and actress.

Life
Alekperova was born in 1976, in Baku. She went to secondary school number 39 in Narimanov district between 1983 and 1993. Alekperova was very active during the school years and she participated as an announcer in public events of the school, and took the first place in poetry competition and knowledge olympiads. During the Karabakh war she actively attended the meetings with injured soldiers and war veterans. Her patriotic poems and articles were published in the most popular newspapers in the 1990s. She has a daughter (Rena Jeferzadeh, born in 2007).[1]
Education
Alekperova entered the Baku Slavic University’s philology faculty with high grades and continued her education there from 1993 to 1997. During the University years she earned sympathy of her teachers as Sabir Aleskerov (People’s Artist of the USSR, academician of the International Academy of Television and Radio, pensioner of President, People’s Artist of Azerbaijan), Etibar Babayev ( Rector of Teleradio Acamy, a candidate to art, professor) and Vasif Abbasov (People’s Artist of Azerbaijan, Shohret Order). As a result of this sympathy she started working as announcer in Sara TV, a famous TV channel at the time, in 1996. She served as announcer in many tv and radio channels between 1996 and 1998. In 2005, she obtained a Master’s Degree in Philology from Baku Slavic University with honors diploma.
TV career
She served as announcer in Space TV between 2002 and 2013, in Xazar TV between 2013 and 2014. During these years she was the host of "Azeri Star", "Favorite show", magazine and entertainment programs and was announcer of official events and concerts were held in front. Alekperova was the producer and host of many successful TV projects. In 2014 and 2015 she worked as announcer of Eslinde Men, a portrait program on ANS TV. Members of Parliament, famous sports personalities and other prominent individuals were invited to this program as guests. One of the most notable works of Alekperova on Azerbaijani TV was her participation in Space TV's "Extreme Reality Show" program that was held in Namibia, Africa. During one of the shoots she suffered a serious injury (broken rib).
Letafet Alekperova was the host and screenwriter of "Dadli Seyahet" program which was broadcast on Xazar TV in 2016. She serves as the host of "Hediyyemiz+Biz" program, which is currently broadcast on that channel.[2]
Trips
Letafet is always in close relation with Turkey. She is a famous one in the brother country. While working in ANS TV and Xazar TV she was invited as a guest to Turkish TV Channel TMB and attended as announcer of many events held in Turkey. In 2016, Alekperova was the host of "Kristal Kale" International Film Festival, held in Alanya city of Turkey, in which more than 10 countries were represented. Many prominent actors and film producers from Turkey and other countries attended the festival. In March 2017, Letafet accepted the invitation of Turkish actress Vilma Elles and attended "MoonLife" best of the year awards ceremony in Turkey with Vilma, despite terror threat. "Turkey is not threatening, it is lovely country" message[3] that she gave in Istanbul was highly praised in brother country.
