Liaquat University Hospital, Hyderabad
The Liaquat University Hospital, Hyderabad/Jamshoro, is a 1450-bed tertiary care hospital in Sindh Province of Pakistan. It is one of the largest teaching hospitals affiliated with Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences, Jamshoro, the first medical university of the public sector in Pakistan. The hospital serves Sindh and the neighboring province of Balochistan.
Historical background
The Liaquat University Hospital started functioning as Civil Hospital Hyderabad, affiliated with the Bombay Faculty of Medicine, in 1881. It is now affiliated with the Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences.[1]
