Linda Kenney Baden

Linda Kenney Baden is an American lawyer, former prosecutor and private defense attorney.[1]

Career

Kenney Baden graduated from Rutgers Law School.[2] She has participated in a number of high-profile cases including the trials of Phil Spector, Jayson Williams, Casey Anthony, Michael Skakel and Aaron Hernandez.[3][4][5][6]

Media

She is an on-air host for the Law & Crime Network[7] and contributor to the Huffington Post.[8]

She was portrayed by Helen Mirren in the 2013 HBO made-for-TV film by Pulitzer Prize-winning writer David Mamet, Phil Spector, detailing her defense of Spector in his first trial for the murder of Lana Clarkson. Mirren won a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Miniseries or Television Movie for her portrayal of Kenney Baden. She is married to Michael Baden, a forensic pathologist, and together they authored Remains Silent: A Novel and Skeleton Justice.[9]
