List of NCAA Division I field hockey programs
The following is a list of schools that participate in NCAA Division I field hockey, according to NCAA.org.[1] In the most recently completed 2019 season, 79 Division I schools competed.
Conference affiliations are as of the 2020–21 NCAA field hockey season, originally scheduled for fall 2020 but mostly delayed to spring 2021 due to COVID-19. These reflect field hockey affiliations, which do not necessarily match schools' primary affiliations.
Division I programs
Notes
- Through the 2018–19 school year, Long Island University had two separate field hockey programs—the Division I LIU Brooklyn Blackbirds and Division II LIU Post Pioneers. The two programs were merged effective with the 2019–20 school year.[4]
- The unified LIU field hockey team inherited LIU Brooklyn's membership in the Northeast Conference.
- Sacred Heart plays its home games at Yale's field hockey venue.
