List of Pashtuns
The following is an incomplete list of notable Pashtuns.[1] The list includes those born to parents who are both ethnic Pashtuns and those who have mixed Pashtun ancestry in different degree.

Pashtun people are usually defined as predominantly an Eastern Iranian people, who speak Pashto, an eastern Iranic language, as their first language, and live in the Pashtunistan regions in Afghanistan and Pakistan and come from a Pashtun tribe. They are those who practice Pashtunwali. This is the generally accepted academic view.
