For his role in the sitcom, Frasier, he won two Golden Globe awards for Best Lead Actor in a Television Series - Comedy or Musical in 1996 and 2001, four Primetime Emmy awards for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series in 1994, 1995, 1998 and 2004, and a Screen Actors Guild award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series in 2000.
