List of chairmen of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council
The Chairman of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council presides over the upper house of the Andhra Pradesh Legislature. The Chairman regulates the debates and proceedings of the House. The office was in existence from 1958 to 1985 and again from 2007 when the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council has been reconstituted.[1]
As of 16 November 2017, the elected Chairman of the council is N. M. D Farooq.
