Luther A. Cole
Luther A. Cole (November 1, 1812 – June 22, 1880) was an American businessman and politician.
Born in Charleston, Vermont, Cole moved to Watertown, Wisconsin Territory and started a mill. He also had a merchandise business. In 1844 and 1846, he served as sheriff of Jefferson County, Wisconsin Territory. He served in the Wisconsin State Assembly in 1859. He was a member of the Whig Party and then the Republican Party. He died in Denver, Colorado where he lived part of the time and had property.[1][2]
