MCND

MCND (Korean: 엠씨엔디; acronym for "Music Creates New Dream"[1]) is a five-member South Korean boy group formed by the company TOP Media in 2020. The group debuted on February 27, 2020 with the song "ICE AGE". The group is composed of members Castle J, BIC, Minjae, Huijun, and WIN.

History

2020: Top Gang, debut with Into the Ice Age, "Spring", and Earth Age

On January 2, the group released the pre-debut single "Top Gang".[2] The single was composed by member Castle J, and was written by Castle J, Bic and Win.[3] The group had performed on Music Bank on December 13[4] and at Inkigayo on December 15, 2019.[5]

The group made their official debut on February 27, with the EP Into the Ice Age and its lead single "Ice Age".[6] Their debut showcase was held at Seoul's Yes24 Live Hall on February 26.[7][8]

On April 9, the group made their first comeback with the first digital single "Spring (떠)".[9]

On August 20, the group returned with the new EP Earth Age and its lead single "Nanana".[10]

The group did their first ever online concert "MCND 1ST ON:LIVE" on September 26, 2020 and it finished successfully.[11]

2021–present: Comeback with MCND Age

On December 27, 2020, it was announced that group would make their second comeback with their third EP MCND Age and its lead single "Crush" on January 8, 2021.[12]
