MacGregor (filmmaker)
Miguel López Ximénez de Olaso (born 1980), known professionally as MacGregor, is a Spanish commercial cinematographer and film director based in Los Angeles.

Biography
MacGregor (born in 1980) is a Spanish commercial cinematographer, film director, and car enthusiast based in Los Angeles, CA. After graduating with a degree in Visual Communications from the European University of Madrid he wrote and directed the celebrated shorts 18 seconds (2008) and Uyuni (2010). In 2012 Warner Brothers purchased and developed his futuristic action pitch Law Zero[1][2], with Roy Lee attached to produce it. In 2014 Macgregor released the award-winning Similo,[3][4][5] a futuristic love story set in Antarctica, one of the last habitable regions on an earth destroyed by climate change. In 2015 MacGregor went on to write, produce, and direct the award-winning short film Los Angeles 1991,[6] a film depicting the racial tensions in Los Angeles during the 1990s. Los Angeles 1991 won numerous film festivals, among them the Guadalajara International Film Festival (Mexico). In 2017 MacGregor released the documentaryThe Mauritania Railway: Backbone of the Sahara, currently being displayed in film festivals worldwide. MacGregor has shot commercials for Chevrolet, Pennzoil, Jeep, Toyota, Jaguar, and Ferrari.
