Malikpur
Malikpur is a village in Gujrat District, in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It is situated about 9.2 kilometres (5.7 mi) from main city of Gujrat. In the past it was the part of UC Deona, but in 1996 it was the part of UC Sabowal, from 1999 once again it was made part of UC Deona. In Local Government Election 2015 its again made part of UC Sabowal. The majority of the people of Malikpur belong to the Gujjar caste, but there are other castes including, Syeds, Butts and Masawat Families. From the past politically and Socially there are Two Main families of the village: Choudhery Sultan Ali known as Choudhary Family and Choudhery Akbar Ali known as Khatana Family.
