Mariachi Static
Mariachi Static is the first studio album released by American country music and Americana artist Izaak Opatz. Released on February 11, 2017, the album was recorded in Los Angeles. The album's inspirations include Mojave desert camping excursions; life on a Glacier National Park trail crew; late night ping-pong tournaments - and unrequited love.[1]

Opatz wrote his own songs with production by Malachi DeLorenzo. Some of the songs on "Mariachi" were written several years before the album's release while others were written shortly before. He recorded "Mariachi" as a solo album in part because he was in L.A. at the time.[2]
