Masaru Yamada
Masaru Yamada (born 14 June 1994)[1] is a Japanese fencer. In 2018, he won the gold medal in the men's team épée event at the 2018 Asian Games held in Jakarta, Indonesia.[1] Four years earlier, he won the silver medal in the same event at the 2014 Asian Games held in Incheon, South Korea.

In 2017, he won one of the bronze medals in the men's individual épée event at the 2017 Summer Universiade held in Taipei, Taiwan.[2] He also competed in the men's team épée event.
In 2019, he won the gold medal in the men's épée event at the 2019 Asian Fencing Championships held in Chiba, Japan.[3]
