Meredith Bagby

Meredith Bagby is an American writer, publisher and producer. Bagby has authored a half-dozen books on politics including We've Got Issues, Rational Exuberance, as well as the first editions of the Annual Report of the USA which she first published as an undergraduate at Harvard University.[1]

Bagby has worked as an on-camera reporter for CNN and has appeared as a commentator on Larry King Live, NBC Nightly News, MSNBC, Fox, among others. She's testified before the Senate Finance Committee, the Bipartisan Commission on Medicare, and the President's Committee to Strengthen Social Security.[2] She was a fellow at Harvard's Institute of Politics.

Bagby is the founder of the American Education Foundation, a nonprofit focused on youth engagement in politics. She continues to publish The Annual Report of the USA through the American Education Foundation in conjunction with the Harvard University Institute of Politics. Bagby has also written a series of articles for the Huffington Post.

Bagby was previously a development executive at DreamWorks in Los Angeles and continues to develop feature film projects. She is a graduate of Columbia Law School and Harvard College.
