Ministry of Transport and Communication (Armenia)
The Ministry of Transport and Communication of Armenia (Armenian: Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Տրանսպորտի և Կապի Նախարարություն Hayastani Hanrapetowt’yan Transporti ew Kapi Naxararowt’yown) is a government ministry of Armenia. Its head office is in Yerevan.[1] Since October 2018, the post of Minister has been held by Hakob Arshakyan.[2]
Departments within the ministry include the Transport Department, Department of Communication, Department of Post, Department of Informatization, the Railway Department, the Road Construction Department, the Financial-Economic and Accounting Department, the Legal Department, and the Foreign Relations and Programmes Department.[3]
The Ministry also oversees the Armenian Space Agency.
