Minohama-gakuen Station
Minohama-gakuen Station (美乃浜学園駅, Minohamagakuen-eki) is a passenger railway station on the Minato Line in the city of Hitachinaka, Ibaraki, Japan, operated by the third-sector railway operator Hitachinaka Seaside Railway, involved opening a new school which is named as Minohama Gakuen. It opened on March 2021.

Minohama-gakuen Station is served by the 14.3 km single-track Hitachinaka Seaside Railway Minato Line from Katsuta to Ajigaura, and is located between Hiraiso and Isozaki stations, 12.6 km from the starting point of the line at Katsuta.[1]
Station layout
The station consists of a single side platform, and is unstaffed and installed fence for fall prevention.[2][3]
History
As an unified elementary through junior high school, which is put together various schools in the Hitachinaka city into one, is built, the station is also built due to go to the school. And, subsidy for constructing the station is paid by JRTT. [2][4] The name of the new station was formally unveiled on 26 May 2020.[1] It opened on March 2021.[5]
About Minohama
Minohama School and the station is so named because there are composed about Isozaki in Manyoshu.
The station takes its name from an unified elementary through junior high school (gakuen in Japanese) which is operated by Hitachinaka, Ibaraki, and translates as the "Minohama School" which has an elementary and junior high School.[2]
