Muhammad Najeeb Naqi Khan
Dr Muhammad Najeeb Naqi Khan‘ڈاکٹرمحمد نجیب نقی خان is a Pakistani Kashmiri politician currently serving as Minister for Health and Finance in Azad Jammu & Kashmir Government. He has been elected to Azad Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly five times since 1991. Dr Najeeb Naqi belongs from well-known political family. His grandfather Baba-e-Poonch KhanSahib Col Khan Muhammad Khan remained elected member of Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly for 12 consecutive years from 1934-46 and later served as Chairman of War Council during 1947 War of Independence. His father Col M.Naqi Khan remained elected member of Azad Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly from 1985-90 and served as Minister for Health, Food and Information in Azad Kashmir Government. Dr Najeeb Naqi began his political career in 1990 after his father died.

Political career
Dr Najeeb Naqi began his political career in 1990 after his father Col Muhammad Naqi Khan died a day before the elections. He contested elections for the first time in 1990 but was unsuccessful. However, that government lasted only a year and fresh elections were held in 1991. Dr Najeeb Naqi got elected to Azad Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly for the first time in 1991 where he served as Parliamentary Secretary for Health. He was re-elected to Azad Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly for the second time in 1996 and remained in opposition. He contested elections again in 2001 but was unsuccessful. Later, he became member of Kashmir Council from 2001-2006. He was re-elected to Azad Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly for the third time in 2006 and served as Minister for Health & Information Technology from 2006-2009. Later again served as Minister for Health and Education (Colleges) from 2010-2011.He was re-elected to Azad Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly for the fourth time in 2011 and remained in opposition. He was re-elected to Azad Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly for the fifth time in 2016 and is currently serving as Minister for Health and Finance.
