Geography
Muliyar is located about 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) east of Kasaragod.[1] It is situated along State Highway 55, to the north of the Payaswini River.[2] The village covers 34.27 square kilometres (13.23 sq mi) of land in Kasaragod taluk.
Demographics
As of the 2011 census, Muliyar had a population of 25,095 people, living in 4,980 households. 12,248 of the population were male, while 12,847 were female. 3,106, or roughly 12.4% of the population, were at or below the age of 6.[3]
