Najwa Nimri
Najwa Nimri Urrutikoetxea (Spanish: [ˈnaʝwa ˈnimri]; born 14 February 1972) is a Spanish actress and singer.

Early life
Nimri's mother is Basque and her father is a Jordanian named Karam Nimri.[1] She has a brother named Karim Nimri, a half-brother named Andre Nimri and two half-sisters named Sara and Nadia Nimri. Najwa also has a cousin who is a singer named (Antix) Alexander Nimier. When she was a child she moved to Bilbao and now lives in Madrid. She has one son named Teo Nabil, who was born on 30 June 2004.
Career
Her first major film role was in Salto al vacío, the first movie by film director Daniel Calparsoro. Her career as a singer started with small groups. In 1996, she formed the band Najwajean with Carlos Jean.[2] She has also released three solo albums. She was married to Daniel Calparsoro[3] and in 2004, she had a son, Teo.
Several of her film roles won her praise: as Ana in Lovers of the Arctic Circle,[4] and as Elena in Lucía y el sexo.[5] Both films were directed by Julio Medem.[6] She starred next to Eduardo Noriega in Abre los ojos,[7] and El método.[8]
She was nominated to the 33rd edition of Goya Awards for Goya Award for Best Actress for Quién te cantará.[9]
In 2019, she returned as Zulema in the spin off Vis a vis: El oasis,[10] starring with Maggie Civantos.[11] She played Alicia Sierra, a policewoman inspector in La casa de papel.[12] She voiced Kate Laswell in the 2019 video game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.[13]
