Nida Mumtaz

Nida Mumtaz is a Pakistani actress and model.[1] She is known for her roles in dramas Kahin Deep Jaley, Deewangi and Khoob Seerat.[2] She is also known for her roles in movies Wrong No. and Mehrunisa V Lub U.[3]

Biography and career

Nida was born in Karachi.[4] She completed her studies from University of Karachi.[5] She joined the industry in 1984 with her mother Salma Mumtaz who was a very famous actress.[6] She starred in a drama produced by her uncle Pervaiz Nasir on PTV Channel.[7] She then joined another drama in 1986 in which she starred with her aunt Shammi.[8] In 1980s and 1990s she was popular and known among the audience.[9] She was noted for portraying innocent and kind characters.[10]

Personal life

Nida Mumtaz is married and has two children one son and daughter.[11] Her mother Salma Mumtaz died in 2012 then she took a break and then she returned.[12] Nida is the aunt of actress and model Sadaf Kanwal.[13]
