Nieuwendijk
Nieuwendijk is a village in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is a part of the municipality of Altena, and lies about 8 km south of Gorinchem.

In 2001, the village of Nieuwendijk had 2,212 inhabitants. The built-up area of the village was 0.60 km², and contained 880 residences.[1] The statistical area "Nieuwendijk", which also can include the peripheral parts of the village, as well as the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 3,360.[2]
