"No More (I Can't Stand It)" is a song recorded by the German Eurodance project Maxx.[1] It was released on March 1, 1994 as the second single from the album, To The Maxximum and is the follow-up to the project's debut single, "Get-A-Way". The singer on the song is Linda Meek. It peaked at number 8 in the United Kingdom[2] and was also a major hit in many other European countries.

Chart performance

"No More (I Can't Stand It)" was very successful on the charts in Europe, proving to be one of the project's biggest hits. It managed to climb into the Top 10 in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland (number 2), Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Scotland, Sweden and the United Kingdom, as well as on the Eurochart Hot 100, where the single reached number 9. In the UK, it peaked at number 8 in its second week on the UK Singles Chart, on August 7, 1994.[3] Additionally, "No More (I Can't Stand It)" was a Top 20 hit in France, Ireland and Switzerland. Outside Europe, it reached number 3 on the RPM Dance Chart in Canada and was a big hit also in Israel, where the single peaked at number 5. In Australia, it went to number 186.

Music video

The music video for "No More (I Can't Stand It)" was directed by Jonathan Bate.[4] He also directed the video for "Get-A-Way". "No More (I Can't Stand It)" was uploaded to YouTube in July 2016. By August 2020, the video had more than 9,3 million views.[5]
