Nodaway Valley High School
Nodaway Valley High School is a rural public high school in Greenfield, Adair County, Iowa, United States. It is part of the Nodaway Valley Community School District.
It serves Greenfield, Bridgewater, and Fontanelle.[1]
The school was formed in 1993 from the merger of Bridgewater–Fontanelle High School and Greenfield High School.[2] On July 1, 2000, the school's district, Greenfield Community School District, merged with Bridgewater–Fontanelle to form the Nodaway Valley district.[3]
In 2005, it had 295 students and 26 teachers. 13% were eligible for free lunch, less than the state average of 23%.
Nodaway Valley (Greenfield) has had some great wrestling teams. They won the sectionals two years in row, 2005–06 and 2006–07. In 2007, they placed in the top 10 at the Iowa High School Athletic Association wrestling tournament. In the 2008–09 season, the team finished with a 20–0 regular season.

Between 1997 and 2005, Nodaway Valley's cross country teams have qualified for state 16 times.[4]
Nodaway Valley's mascot of is the wolverine. School colors are silver, purple, and black.
