Nomico
Nomico, often stylized as "nomico" or "Nomiko", is a Japanese singer and voice actress.[1] She has released four albums[2] and is signed to the Lantis record label. She has done voice-acting[1] and has released songs which have been used in anime and various visual novels.[1]

Biography
Early life
Nomico was born in Tokushima Prefecture, Japan.
Career
Nomico first started her career off in 2004, as a part of the musical circle LOOPCUBE, where she provided the main vocals.[3] She released her first album, entitled "Nomico no Ōzora" (のみこの大空) in 2004 together with LOOPCUBE.[4] She left the group after 2 years of being a member, in 2006.
In 2006, Nomico released her first major single, entitled "Shichaimashou". The song has been used in the anime Renkin 3-kyū Magical? Pokān[3] which had been used as the ending theme.[3] She also debuted as a voice actress at the same time, playing the role of Keimi,[5] as well as voicing character Jun. Nomico had also released her first album in her solo career, entitled "Nomico no Mi" in the same year.[6] It averaged a rating of 3.5/5 on Rate Your Music.[6] As of 2019, Nomico has released a total of four albums from 2004 to 2010.[1] Throughout her career, Nomico went on to sing various theme songs for other anime and visual novels.[7] She sung "Koisora Recycling" for Akikan!, "Skip!" for Moetan, "Randoseling" for Mitsudomoe Zouryouchuu!, "Karakuri Nemuri Dan" for Katanagatari, "Hoshikaze no Horoscope" for Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi, and "Shichaimashou" for Renkin 3-kyū Magical? Pokān.[8][9][10][11][12][13]
Nomico released the song "Bad Apple!!"[14] in 2007, which was a collaboration with Alstroemeria Records, in which she provided vocals. The song remixed was originally featured in the 1998 game Lotus Land Story, part of the Touhou Project series.[15] The song soon started to gain traction on YouTube, and Nico Nico Douga in 2007, which had spawned a massive number of remixes and fanworks.[15] This gave Nomico a great amount of fame to her name and is considered one of her most notable works. In 2020, on YouTube, the "Bad Apple!!" music video has gained 36 million views. The song also charted on Nico Nico Douga's rankings around the time of its release.[16]
