Plot

Chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy dies in a helicopter crash. A senior minister in the cabinet takes it for granted that he would be the next natural choice and even accepts felicitations from his party men. He is in for a shock when someone who has not even been a minister is nominated by the party high command to occupy the CM's chair. Krishna (Posani Krishna Murali) is a Hawala specialist. Venkatadri (Kota Srinivasa Rao) is a corrupt minister. After the death of a chief minister, the high command appoints a young and dynamic person as the CM. Venkatadri couldn't digest this, so he tries to topple the government and gain power. In a transaction, Krishna's henchmen get caught and Venkatadri pushes the blame on the new CM. To probe further into the case, a CBI officer (Jagapathi Babu) comes to the forefront. The follow of events with intermittent hymns of the CM and present status quo of politics forms the rest of the story.
