Paulo Josué

Paulo Josué Stürmer dos Reis (born 13 March 1989), commonly known as Paulo Josué, is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a midfielder for Malaysia Super League side Kuala Lumpur. He has been with the club since 2017 and in the 2020 league season, he is named captain of the team.

Club career

Kuala Lumpur FA

In January 2017, Paulo Josue signed for Kuala Lumpur FA in the midseason transfer window. In his first season, he scored 6 goals from 9 league games and helps the club to win the league as well as getting promoted to the Malaysia Super League. In his second season (2018) with the club, Paulo scored 7 goals from midfield. His contribution helps Kuala Lumpur maintain their super league team status. In the 2019 season, he did not manage to stop the club from being relegated as the club finish bottom of the table. For league season 2020, he is made the captain of the Kuala Lumpur team. A rare achievement for a foreign player.
