Philip Claeys
Philip Claeys (Dutch: [ˈfilɪp ˈklaːi̯s]; born 24 May 1965) is a Belgian politician and Member of the European Parliament (MEP) for Flanders with the Vlaams Belang, a right-wing political party which condemns social integration without proper assimilation into existing culture and is opposed the federal construction of Belgium. He sits on its Committee on Foreign Affairs, and is a substitute for the Committee on Culture and Education and a member of the Delegation for relations with Australia and New Zealand. Since late 2010, he has been a board member of the pan-European eurosceptic party European Alliance for Freedom.[1]
