Plaquemine Post South
The Plaquemine Post South is a weekly newspaper published in Plaquemine, Louisiana.[1] It is owned by Gatehouse Media.[2] The Plaquemine Post South is a member of the Louisiana Press Association.[3] News content for the publication is based in the City of Plaquemine, but also includes the Iberville Parish area.

History
The Plaquemine Post South was established in 1881 by Mary E. Hebert.[4] The current editor is Greg Fischer. The newspaper has a long history of winning Louisiana Press Association awards.[5]
