Portulacineae

Portulacineae is a suborder of flowering plants in the order Caryophyllales comprising the families Anacampserotaceae, Basellaceae, Cactaceae (cacti), Didiereaceae, Halophytaceae, Montiaceae, Portulacaceae, and Talinaceae. All three major kinds of succulent plantstem succulents, leaf succulents, and caudiciform plants — are represented within this suborder.
