Raj Mamodia

Raj Mamodia (born July 18, 1971) is an Indian American business executive. He is the current CEO of Brillio, a technology company spun off from Collabera in 2014.[1] Prior to founding Brillio, Mamodia was CEO of Collabera.[2]

Early life

Raj Mamodia studied mechanical engineering from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad and did an MBA from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management.[3]

Career

Mamodia worked for Cognizant before he was named CEO of Collabera, an international information technology firm, in 2013 [4] When he took over as CEO, the company had two main components: an IT staffing branch, and a newer IT and consulting group. It was Mamodia’s idea to spin off the solutions branch as Brillio, and he is now the new company’s CEO.[5]

  • In 2017, Raj earned the Gold Stevie at American Business Awards for Executive of the Year in Business & Professional Services category.[6]
  • In 2017, he was awarded CEO Connection Mid-Market Social Impact Award 2017.[7]
  • In 2016, Brillio was named one of Achievers 50 Most Engaged Workplaces in North America, an award recognizing employers for leadership and innovation in engaging their workplaces.[8]
  • In 2014, under Mamodia’s leadership, Brillio was awarded the prestigious CMMI Level 5 Appraisal.[9]

Philanthropy

He is the key sponsor of Brillio’s corporate social responsibility program, Bringing Smiles, that under his leadership won various accolades such as Silver Stevie at the ‘2019 American Business Awards’,[10] Excellence in Community Impact at the SHRM HR Excellence Awards 2018,[11] Community Initiative award at the India CSR Leadership Summit 2017,[12] and Best Education Improvement Award at the National Awards 2016 for Excellence in CSR and Sustainability.
