Release
A reviewer of the film noted that it was shot like a western film.[5]
The film, along with Velu Prabhakaran's other venture Asuran (1995) during the same period, did not perform well at the box office.[6][7]
It was later dubbed and released in Hindi as Badmashon Ka Raja.[8]
