Rakkuyil (TV series)
Rakkuyil (transl.Nightingale) is an Indian television soap opera that airs on Mazhavil Manorama on Weekdays at 8.30 pm IST and streams on Manorama Max.[2] It is an adaptation of Murali Nellanadu's Novel Raakuyil on Malayala Manorama.

Raakkuyil, is narrated from the point of view of central character Thulasi. She is the quintessential middle child of Karukaran Menon and Banumathi. It portrays the rivalry of Meleppattu Family and Karali Chandran.
The show stars new face Archana Nair (Replaced by popular malayalam TV actress Devika Nambiar) in the titular character along with Sivaji Guruvayoor , Vishnu Prasad and Tamil actors Apsara and Hemanth Kumar (later replaced by Niranjan Nair) in the lead roles.
Apart from the original schedule the series is retelecasted thrice a day in the channel at 2:30 am, 10 am, 6 pm IST respectively.

- A kind hearted rich businessman, husband of Bhanu and father of Manasi, Thulasi and Nandu. He hates Karali family and so Chandran.

- Wife of Menon and mother of Thulasi, Manasi and Nandu. She is the younger sister of Bhaskaran.
