Ramón Monterroso
Ramón Monterroso (c. 1843 - c. 1922) was an Argentine notary and military man, who had an outstanding performance during the Triple Alliance War.[2] He maintained a long career as a public and government notary in the City and Province of Buenos Aires.[3]

He was born in Buenos Aires, descendant of Francisco Monterroso, an Andalusian from El Puerto de Santa María established in Buenos Aires towards the end of the 18th century.[4] The Monterroso's were directly and indirectly related to the families of Aristóbulo del Valle and Carlos Tejedor and Florencio Monteagudo.[5]
