Richard G. L. Paige
Richard Gault Leslie Paige (May 31, 1846 – September 21, 1904) was an American Republican politician who was elected and served as a member of the Virginia House of Delegates, representing Norfolk County, from 1871 to 1875 during the Reconstruction era, and again from 1879 to 1883. He was one of the first African Americans to serve in Virginia's government.[1]
