Robert Thurburn
Robert Thurburn (1850-1929) was an English banker who served as manager of the Bank of London and Río de la Plata.[2]

Born Robert Augustus Thurburn in London, United Kingdom, son of James Thurburn, member of the Royal Navy, and Margaret White.[3] Towards the end of 1870, he arrived in Buenos Aires to take charge of the management of the Bank of London and Río de la Plata,[4] and possibly returned to his native country in the 1910s. He was registered with his children, in the National Census of 1895, as a resident of the city of Buenos Aires.[5]
