Amateur career
Ruvalcaba is a Mexican Junior National Champion.[2] He then won a bronze and two silver medals at the Mexican National Amateur Championships in the Elite Category.[3][4]
Professional career
In July 2011, Ruvalcaba beat undefeated Rolando Paredes by third round T.K.O. at the Deportivo Anahuac in Ciudad Morelos, Baja California, Mexico.[5] .
